Our client, a well-established fruit exporter, has the above opportunity available in the debtors department of their marketing company situated in Ashton.

The ideal candidate is a team player with an organised, thorough, and detailed approach to work, paired with the ability to work independently.

The incumbent will assist with all Debtors tasks for various entities. Duties will include (but not be limited to): *Handling account queries *Receipt and allocation of payments on Xero and export system (Palbroker) *Daily processing and reconciling of customer account sales *Preparing account statements *Monitoring and following up on outstanding payments *Maintaining financial spreadsheets *Weekly and monthly reporting of debtors’ accounts and expected income *Ad hoc tasks (answering telephone & helping with reception duties when needed).

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Matric;

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Debtors role, preferably in the export industry;

• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, Xero accounting software);

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);

• Own reliable transport;

• Willingness to work overtime as per industry requirements.

Commencement date: As soon as possible.
