Employer: African Mining and Crushing SA (Pty) Ltd

Replace skirtings.
Replace v-belts and drive pulleys.
Install and maintain belt scrapers.
Replace impact beds.
Replace conveyors belts and perform Belt splices- hot splice, cold splice, super screw, Belt clips.
Patch and repair belts with repair strips, and super screw.
Perform routine belt maintenance- replace bearings, replace gearboxes, replace rollers, replace tail and head pulleys.
Replace lagging on pulleys.
Do daily inspections on conveyor belts (Ensure belt in good condition and legally compliant).
Replace screen panels and screen decks.
Write Job cards on All jobs done.
Perform Monthly services on Conveyor gearboxes.
Maintain dust suppression system on conveyor belts.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Grade 12.
5 years relevant experience as a Splicer.
Ability to work a varied schedule under diverse conditions and according to sometimes stringent time schedules.
Basic communication skills (written and oral).
Ability to work in a team.
Problem Solving Skills.
