Blue Chip Bryanston Company requires a Team Player Techncian with a minimum of 2 years Linux experience .  Duties Include :-

• Knowledge of various server platforms e.g. standalone, Hyper-V, other VM application and Cloud based server hosting
• Setup and maintenance of servers loaded with various Linux OS variants, e.g. Centos and Rocky Linux
• Ability to navigate the system’s directories and filing system
• Able to edit and manipulate files in the Linux shell
• Set up and maintain User permission configuration in Linux
• Able to do Package installation and software management of various Linux OS variants
• Ability to identify and apply different filesystem types
• Using Linux commands for process management and system maintenance and monitoring
• Basic troubleshooting and debugging of OS and application related hardware installations
• Familiar with networking components such as SD-branch, WANs, VLANs, SASE technologies, and VPNs.
• Ability to apply knowledge on networking to apply network settings on local and remote servers
• Experience with networking management basics such as network traffic packet capture, network routers and firewalls, and related troubleshooting

Understand the security skills required to determine whether the system is at risk or not and to apply safeguard measures in advance.

Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based operating systems, servers,              networks, and applications

•          Troubleshoot issues and resolve user problems
•          Manage system security, including creating backup and recovery policies
•          Ensure data access and integrity by setting user permissions
•          Identify potential issues and implement protective measures
