Our client, an established company in the macadamia industry, is seeking a Transformation Officer to support emerging growers and drive socio-economic development projects. This role will be based in Boksburg with a hybrid working model of 1-2 office days per week.

This role requires strong project coordination, research, and stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about agricultural transformation.

Duties will include: *Assessing the needs of emerging growers and facilitating access to technical and financial support *Maintaining evaluation records and overseeing procurement processes for farming equipment *Supporting farmers in skill development through training programs and industry initiatives *Engaging with service providers, government institutions, and funding partners *Assisting in drafting proposals, reports, and legislative documents for regulatory bodies *Monitoring and evaluating transformation projects to ensure successful implementation *All other tasks related to this position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field in agriculture or development studies;

• 3-5 years’ experience within the agriculture industry;

• Previous experience in a relevant socio-economic environment will be highly advantageous;

• Proficiency in project management and proposal writing;

• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office).
