Introduction

Manufacturing company based in Randfontein is seeking a proficient Bookkeeper with expertise in accounting software, specifically Sage accounting online.

Responsibilities:

Maintain precise financial records utilizing accounting software like Sage accounting software.
General Admin duties, answering phone calls.
Create all invoices, delivery notes, credit notes and communicate with customers for any issues involved.
Payment allocations of payments and invoices Business Creditors
Execute all bookkeeping tasks, including journals, ledgers, and management accounts.
Reconcile accounts, process payments, and oversee invoices.
Generate financial reports and statements for assessment.
Preparing and submission of VAT returns.

Candidate Requirements

Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping with a comprehensive grasp of accounting principles.
Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage accounting.
Familiarity with excel and words.
Familiarity with journals, ledgers, management accounts, and financial reporting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Effective organizational and time-management abilities.
Matric and a relevant certificate, diploma or degree required in bookkeeping or accounting. (Please attach copies of your matric certificate and tertiary qualification.)
Ability to handle pressure as this is a high paced working environment.
