A leading international company seeks a Group Financial Controller to oversee complex consolidations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in IFRS, compliance, and financial planning, to drive efficiency, support decision-making, and enhance group reporting.

This industry-leading global business is looking for a Group Financial Controller to take ownership of complex consolidations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role is ideal for a CA(SA) who thrives in a dynamic, multinational environment and is passionate about driving accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. Other Duties Include:

Overseeing the monthly group consolidation process and ensuring accurate, timely reporting.
Managing external audits, IFRS compliance, and statutory financial obligations.
Reviewing and maintaining accounting policies, technical position papers, and regulatory submissions.
Providing financial insights to executive leadership through balance sheet analysis and cash flow commentary.
Driving efficiency initiatives, improving financial processes, and strengthening internal controls.
Leading and mentoring the corporate finance team while collaborating with global business units.

Education:

CA(SA) qualification with strong expertise in complex consolidations.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Experience in IFRS reporting, statutory compliance, and multinational financial operations.
Proven ability to manage audits, implement process improvements, and provide financial leadership.
Strategic mindset with a passion for driving efficiency and enhancing financial reporting.
