You Bring:

• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0–2 years of experience in game art (internships or personal projects acceptable).
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant game assets.
• Solid understanding of composition, colour, and typography.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator (After Effects is a plus).
• Basic animation knowledge is a bonus (Spine, Unity, etc.).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take feedback constructively.
• Interest in casino games and a willingness to learn.
• Continuously improve skills in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and other relevant tools.
• Take initiative to learn new techniques and enhance proficiency in Team-used software.
• Effectively manage time to meet deadlines for asset deliveries, ensuring timely completion of tasks within project timelines.
  
  

Asset Creation: 

• Design and create 2D/3D assets for slot game characters, symbols, backgrounds, and animations. 
• Ensure assets are optimised for various game platforms. 

Concept Art:

• Collaborate with the Team to create concept art for new slot game themes and characters. 
• Assist in designing visual styles, mood boards, and reference materials. 

Texture Painting and Mapping: 

• Develop textures for 3D models, including applying shaders and maps for a polished look.

Animation: 

• Create basic animations for slot game symbols, characters, and UI elements (e.g., spinning symbols, rewards animations). 
• Work with the animation team to ensure smooth transitions and consistency in visual style.

UI/UX Design: 

• Help design and refine user interface elements (buttons, icons, menus) for a seamless player experience.
• Maintain visual consistency in UI design elements across the game.

Asset Optimisation: 

• Ensure that game assets meet the studio's performance standards, balancing quality and optimisation for various platforms (PC, mobile, etc.)

Collaboration with Game Designers:

• Work closely with game designers to ensure assets align with gameplay mechanics and the overall game vision.
• Adjust assets based on design feedback to meet the creative goals.

Review and Feedback: 

• Actively participate in art reviews, providing feedback on the work of peers and receiving constructive criticism to improve your own work.
• Revise assets based on feedback from senior artists and game designers.

Follow Art Direction:

• Follow the established visual style and art direction for the project, ensuring consistency throughout the game.
• Adapt to feedback and adjust art assets to meet the creative goals.

Research and Inspiration:

• Stay updated on current trends in game art and slot game design.
• Gather reference materials, study successful slot games, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure high-quality standards are maintained for all visual aspects of the game, ensuring no errors or misaligned assets.

Documentation:

• Help document art processes, workflows, and asset specifications for future reference or other team members.

Adherence to Art Pipeline:

• Follow the studio’s art pipeline and processes for creating, reviewing, and submitting assets.

File Management and Organisation:

• Regularly back up work to the server to ensure files are safely stored and versioned.
• Maintain a clean and organised file structure, adhering to naming conventions and folder structures as per studio standards.

• Ensure that files are properly labelled and easy to navigate for team members to access.
