Hire Resolve's client, a leading engineering firm specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects, is currently seeking a skilled Engineering Surveyor with a strong background in road construction to join their site team in Durban.​

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Resident Engineer in accurately mapping and marking out land for all project aspects.​

• Ensure road infrastructure, including all structures, is built according to setting out plans and specifications.​

• Conduct regular site inspections and survey measurements to ensure adherence to plans and specifications, identifying any deviations or issues.​

• Collect data using various instruments, including total stations, GPS, and 3D laser scanners.​

• Inspect and verify the accuracy of quantities claimed for completed work.​

• Train and mentor Survey Students in mentorship programs.​

• Participate in site project meetings.​

• Assist in collecting data to accurately prepare as-built drawings.​

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Surveying or Civil Engineering.​

• 10+ years of surveying experience in roads, bridges, and civil projects.​

• Medically fit with no limitations.​

• Valid driver's license is essential.​
