A leading financial services group is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will manage financial reporting, accounting processes, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, supporting the company’s continued success and growth.

Duties:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Manage general ledger functions, month-end, and year-end closing processes.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to aid business decision-making.
Reconcile accounts and ensure that internal controls are adhered to.
Provide timely financial reporting to senior management.
Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Support the audit process and liaise with external Auditors as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

A BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Completed articles and a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in accounting or a similar role.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.
