An Exciting Career Opportunity: A Financial Controller (BCom) with Articles and 5+ Years' Experience is Needed to Lead Financial Operations!

A dynamic and fast-growing company in the chemical distribution sector is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will manage financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting the company’s growth.

Duties:

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Coordinate with Auditors and support the audit process.
Lead the monthly and year-end closing processes and financial reporting.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Support tax planning and reporting for the company’s entities.

Qualifications & Skills:

A BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Completed articles and a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in financial management.
Strong experience with tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory obligations.
