An Exciting Opportunity: Financial Manager (CA(SA)) with IFRS 17 Expertise.

A leading organization in the healthcare industry is currently seeking a Financial Manager to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, with a particular focus on IFRS 17 to support business growth and decision-making within the healthcare sector.

Duties:

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS 17 and local regulations.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to support business decision-making.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth.
Oversee taxation, audit processes, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

A CA(SA) qualification is a must.
A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, with specific expertise in IFRS 17.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
