Cook Up Some Financial Success as Financial Accountant! Are you ready to account for every penny and keep the books as balanced as our client's signature burgers? A fast food giant is looking for a Financial Accountant who can add a dash of financial flair to the team. Based in the heart of Cape Town CBD, you’ll help keep the cash flow spicy and the numbers well-done, ensuring the finances are always served hot and fresh!

The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

Fixed asset month-end reporting
GL close
Income tax and VAT returns and compliance
Preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance
Review and release supplier payments
Review and approve supplier invoices on system

Education Requirements:

Completed Degree in Finance or Accounting

Job Requirements and Skills:

3 to 5 years' experience within a financial accounting position essential
Strong MS Excel skills essential
Experience in SA tax laws
FAR experience
Understanding of GAAP principles
Deadline driven
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player
