Contract position available for skilled Automation Design Practitioner at one of SA’s big banks!!!!!

An exhilarating 12 months contract opportunity is available for an Automation Design Practitioner who is fast thinking and tech savvy to contribute towards business success by applying coding and automation construction techniques to build automation artefacts according to a solution design, test components, and create an integrated automation solution as part of a team of developers.
 
The successful candidate will be part of a leading financial institution driving digital transformation whilst working in a dynamic and innovative environment with access to the latest automation technologies.

 
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
 

• Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions in alignment with business requirements.
• Utilize Power Automate to streamline processes and enhance workflow automation.
• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards for business intelligence insights.
• Apply SQL and SAS coding techniques to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
• Develop and maintain robotic process automation (RPA) solutions using Blue Prism.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to refine requirements and ensure optimal automation solutions.
• Maintain documentation of automation solutions, processes, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to ensure smooth operations

 

As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential.
 
The requirements:
 
 
Qualification:
 
 

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (non-negotiable)

 
Experience:
 

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in automation development and process improvement
• Proven experience in Power Automate, Power BI, SQL, SAS, and Blue Prism development
• Experience in scripting, data manipulation, and automation design principles

 
 
Skills Required:
 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in automation tools and technologies.
• Strong coding and scripting abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of process optimization and workflow automation best practices.
