As their Cybersecurity Engineer, you’ll be the Rodney Copperbottom of their systems—defending against cyber threats and ensuring that innovation flows freely. Implementing and managing advanced security systems like firewalls, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection
Monitoring security logs for threats and neutralizing potential risks
Conducting penetration tests, vulnerability scans, and maintaining robust IAM policies
Ensuring compliance with global standards (ISO27001, GDPR, POPIA)
Educating team members on cybersecurity best practices to outsmart cyber troublemakers

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5+ years in IT security, SOC operations, or cybersecurity engineering
Expertise with tools like Fortinet, Palo Alto, Splunk, and EDR solutions
Knowledge of SOC2, Zero Trust models, and cloud security principles
Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a big plus)

A confident individual with a friendly personality, drive, energy, and enthusiasm together with a strong personal commitment to the delivery of high standards in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner who works in alignment with the company policies and procedures. An individual that possesses great problem-solving skills & an ability to work with little to no supervision.
