Suit up, digital defender! We’re on the hunt for a Cybersecurity Engineer to guard our tech fortress against evolving cyber threats. Step into the role of security hero, where your mission is to protect our systems from the dark forces of cybercrime.

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to be the guardian of our IT infrastructure. As our Cybersecurity Engineer, you’ll deploy state-of-the-art defenses, crush vulnerabilities, and shield us from attacks. You’ll wield firewalls like weapons, configure threat detection systems with precision, and maintain our digital perimeter with unwavering vigilance.
You’ll team up with IT Operations and key stakeholders to outsmart hackers, craft rock-solid security policies, and ensure our systems comply with SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, and POPIA regulations. When threats strike, you’ll be the first to respond—analyzing, mitigating, and eliminating risks like the fearless protector you are.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity engineering, or SOC operations
Proficiency with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco), SIEM (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel), and EDR solutions
Strong network and cloud security knowledge (Azure/AWS)
Expertise in security compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001, POPIA)
Skilled in incident response, forensics, and threat intelligence
Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for security automation
Penetration testing and ethical hacking experience

Qualification:
Relevant Degree in Computer Science
Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
Experience with Zero Trust security models and IAM tools (Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity)
