An Accountant is needed.

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to become part of their dynamic finance team, based in Randburg. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is eager to apply their accounting knowledge and gain hands-on experience in a new environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining the cashbook, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Processing financial transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Preparing and posting journal entries to support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Assisting with the preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Supporting the finance team with audit preparation, providing the necessary documentation and reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

A BCom Degree in Accounting or a related field (certificate must be provided).
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles (essential).
Up to 2 years of post-articles experience in any industry.
Advanced MS Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and manipulate financial data effectively.
Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
