Are you a highly skilled logistics professional with expertise in managing complex, high-value transport operations? We are seeking a Logistics Manager to ensure the seamless and secure movement of precious metals locally and internationally via air, road, and sea freight. In this pivotal role, you will develop cost-effective logistics strategies, optimize processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth import and export operations across all transport modes (air, road, and sea) while adhering to international regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service by understanding clients' needs, delivering accurate information, and eliminating errors.
Maximize revenue by arranging transport solutions and identifying cost-effective options for the company and its clients.
Draft contracts and agreements to minimize liability and risk for the company and customers.
Identify market opportunities to grow revenue and expand the customer base.
Coordinate the daily management of vault operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching valuable cargo.
Conduct routine audits (and on inventories) and maintain accurate cargo records.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, including SARS, IATA, ICAO, SACAA, and ACSA.
Lead logistics projects from ideation to completion, driving continuous improvement.
Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to optimize costs and service.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric + Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
5-10 years logistics experience, specifically in air, road, and/or sea freight.
Experience in strategic planning, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
Advanced skills in logistics execution, process optimization, and reporting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Comfortable working under pressure in a high-security, high-value environment.
Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance standards.
Strategy development qualification is an added advantage.
