Our client in Paarl is looking for a Cost Accountant.

Requirements:
A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12) and a relevant tertiary qualification in finance and/or costing.
At least 3 - 4 years’ experience in costing with retail concern.
Experience using ERP systems.
Experience using Sage X3 would be advantageous.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

Responsibilities:
Product costing and tooling inventory reporting and maintenance – compare actual costs to estimates and analyse any variances.
Preparation of cost estimates/quotes for new products/customers and product changes.
Update BOMs as necessary.
Assist with stock counts.
Load cost estimates/quotes.
Assist with recons/schedules.
Prepare accurate records for old and new product costings.
Maintain inventory and products.
Draw audit information on a continuous basis.
