Our client is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join a company that is revolutionizing the brick-and-mortar shopping experience. This role offers the chance to safeguard IT infrastructure and protect digital assets in a dynamic and innovative environment.

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will implement advanced threat detection systems, enforce compliance with industry standards, and lead incident response efforts. You will work closely with IT Operations to ensure the security of systems evolves with emerging threats
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity engineering, or SOC operations
Expertise in firewalls, SIEM, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and encryption technologies
Experience with SOC2, ISO27001, and POPIA compliance frameworks
Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for security automation
 
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus
