We are searching for a dynamic and motivated Structural Engineer / Engineering Technologist to join an established medium-sized Consulting Engineering firm located in Bellville (Cape Town).
The candidate must have 7 - 10 years post-graduation design experience as a Structural Engineer / Structural Engineering Technologist in Structural Consulting Engineering.
Other key requirements:
- BSc or B.Eng Structural Engineering / BTech: Structural Engineering qualification
- Engineering Engineer / Technologist registered with ECSA either as a Candidate or Professional would be advantageous.
- Preparing AutoCAD & REVIT drawings and bending schedules.
Required Skills
- Structural Engineering: 7 to 8 years
- Prokon: 7 to 8 years
- Autodesk Revit: 7 to 8 years
Candidate Requirements
- Must have min. 7 years' of post-graduation design experience as a Structural Engineer / Structural Engineering Technologist.
- Be proficient in the design of Concrete and Steel Structures.
- Be proficient in Prokon
- Be proficient in AutoCAD & have a good knowledge of REVIT
- Have construction site experience.
- Have good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Stable employment record.
- Code B Driver's license with own vehicle.
