Hoof Verantwoordelikhede:

• Instandhouding en foutoplossing van meganiese, elektriese en geoutomatiseerde stelsels, insluitend CNC-masjinerie.
• Onderhoud en herstelwerk op FANUC, Siemens, en Turck Banner PLC-stelsels.
• Algemene instandhouding oor die hele vervaardigingsfasiliteit, insluitend elektriese en meganiese stelsels.
• Identifisering en implementering van verbeterings in outomatisering en vervaardigingsprosesse.
• Ontwikkel en implementeer nuwe stelsels om spoed en doeltreffendheid in produksie te verhoog.
• Werk saam met produksie- en kwaliteitspanne om deurlopende verbeterings te dryf.
• Voorkomende instandhouding om produksie stilstand te verminder en toerusting se lewensduur te verleng.
• Diagnoseer en herstel meganiese, elektriese en PLC-probleme op geoutomatiseerde stelsels.
• Hou akkurate rekords van instandhouding en lewer verslae oor prestasie en verbeterings.

Posvereistes:

• Gekwalifiseerde Millwright of Megatronika-tegnikus met ‘n handelssertifikaat.
• Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat (NSC).
• 3 tot 5 jaar ondervinding in ‘n CNC/PLC instandhoudingsrol, verkieslik in ‘n vervaardigingsomgewing.
• Sterk elektriese en meganiese vaardighede met ondervinding in CNC draaibanke (ervaring met Omron, Siemens en Mitsubishi kontroles is voordelig).
• Praktiese ervaring met FANUC-stelsels.
• Vaardigheid in outomatisering en prosesoptimalisering.
• Sterk probleemoplossingsvaardighede en analitiese denke.
• Kennis van veiligheidsregulasies, veral IATF 16949 (voordelig).
• Uitstekende spanwerk en kommunikasievaardighede, met ‘n fokus op samewerking en voortdurende verbetering.

CNC/PLC Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC/PLC Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining and optimizing our automated systems, with a strong focus on CNC machinery and PLC systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and the continuous improvement of these advanced manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, including CNC machinery.
• Maintain and repair FANUC, Siemens, and Turck Banner PLC systems (experience in these systems is advantageous).
• Conduct general maintenance across the entire manufacturing facility, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Identify and implement improvements in automation and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement new systems to enhance speed and efficiency in production.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to drive continuous improvements.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues on automated systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate reports on equipment performance and improvements.

Requirements:

• Qualified Millwright or Mechatronics Technician with a trade test certification.
• National Senior Certificate (NSC).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a CNC/PLC maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills with experience working on CNC lathes and 3, 4 & 5-axis milling machines (experience with Omron, Siemens, and Mitsubishi controllers is advantageous).
• Hands-on experience with FANUC systems.
• Experience working with automation systems and process optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, particularly IATF 16949 (advantageous).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
