A leading company in the insurance sector is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join their dynamic team based in Midrand. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial accounting, with strong technical expertise in claims processing and reconciliations, and experience managing junior accounting staff.

Key Requirements:

BCom Degree with completed articles.
Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience.
Insurance industry experience is essential.
Solid technical experience in handling claims and reconciliations.
Experience managing a team of at least 2 Junior Accountants.
Strong proficiency in financial systems and tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all accounting operations.
Handle technical aspects related to claims and reconciliations.
Provide leadership and mentorship to Junior Accountants.
Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate closely with internal departments to support financial processes.
Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
