About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must hold a BCom degree, be fluent in Afrikaans and English, and have a strong foundation in accounting principles. This position is open to candidates from any industry who are eager to grow their careers in accounting and finance.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with financial record-keeping, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.Prepare and process invoices, payments, and financial statements.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT submissions, and financial reporting standards.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Work closely with senior accountants and finance managers to ensure accurate reporting.Maintain and update financial databases and accounting systems.

Requirements

• BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
