PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The purpose of an Estimator is to provide a sound financial foundation for projects by accurately estimating
costs, supporting competitive bidding, managing risks, facilitating effective communication with clients, and
contributing to the overall success of the projects tendered on.

EDUCATION:
Degree/National Diploma/BTech in Quantity Surveying in Quantity Surveying

KNOWLEDGE:
Understand the tendering process and have suitable contractual knowledge of the different types of tenders and their
requirements.
- A methodical approach to work
- Literate with good mathematical knowledge
- High level of knowledge on JBCC, FIDIC, NEC3, GCC etc. Conditions of Contract
- Knowledge of Pricing Process
- Understanding of the external market conditions
- Understanding of regional rates and supply chain processes and policies.
- Understanding different types of construction methodologies.
- Understanding market and economic environment for which he/she is responsible.
- Electrical contracting experience is an advantage.

SKILLS:
- Computer literate and proficient (Excel, Outlook, Word, MS Project, CCS and Buildsmart)
- Interpersonal and Intrapersonal, must be able to communicate at all levels.
- Coaching and Mentorship.
- Organizational skills.
- Be able to multitask in a timeline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Be able to solve complex issues.
- Good negotiation skills
