Hire resolve's client is seeking a skilled Mechanical (HVAC & Wet Services) and Fire Engineer to join our team in the Building Services sector. The ideal candidate will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with South African codes and regulations while applying Rational Design principles to exceed industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical building services projects, including HVAC, wet services, and fire engineering, across all project phases.
• Work independently to execute and manage projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of building services.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations (SANS Codes) and apply Rational Design principles.
• Prepare detailed specifications, bills of quantities, and technical reports.
• Apply fire engineering expertise to enhance project safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or BSc).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Building Services Industry.
• Professional Engineer registration with ECSA (or eligibility for registration).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
