LED Lighting Technical Specialist (JB5198)

This role is perfect for someone who loves both technology and problem-solving in the LED lighting industry. As a Technical Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for LED lighting products, helping customers, sales teams, and internal staff understand, install, and troubleshoot lighting systems.

Minimum Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field, preferred.
3-5 years of experience in the LED lighting industry or a similar technical role.
Technical background in electrical and/or LED lighting technology.
Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing LED lighting systems.
Familiarity with lighting control systems and dimming technologies (e.g., DALI, selectable dimming).
Proficiency in lighting design software (Dialux, Relux, AutoCAD) is advantageous.
Experience in conducting technical training and workshops.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Market research and competitor analysis experience.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to customers, sales teams, and partners on LED lighting products and solutions.
Assist in product selection, ensuring solutions align with client needs.
Conduct technical training and workshops for internal teams and external customers.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to LED lighting systems and components, providing effective solutions.
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in LED lighting.
Assist in developing installation guidelines, manuals, and best practice recommendations.
Participate in site visits and field support when needed to ensure proper installation and operation of LED systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and certifications.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and improve product offerings.
Provide input on product development and enhancements based on market trends and customer feedback.
