The AMR Technician is responsible for the successful installation of various AMR products. This includes conducting thorough site and meter audits, network planning, and ensuring that usable data is transmitted.

Technical Skills Requirements:

Assessment, implementation, and management of AMR equipment.
Auditing of metering devices for AMR compatibility.
Basic knowledge of domestic electrical supply (220V Single Phase).
Strong electronic fault-finding skills.
Comprehensive understanding of AMR, metering equipment, and AMR networks.

General Requirements:

Proficiency in Outlook, Email, Shared Drive, Google Chrome, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Valid driver’s license with driving experience.
Based in East London (initial 12-month training in Johannesburg).
Compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Adherence to conflict-of-interest policies, safeguarding company IP, interests, resources, and data.
