Develop and maintain accurate price lists, ensuring alignment with market trends and business objectives.
Generate and present monthly sales forecasts, providing clear and actionable insights for stakeholders.
Ensure inventory management is optimized, with correct stock levels to meet customer demand and minimize excess.
Supervise delivery schedules to ensure on-time fulfillment of orders and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Prepare monthly sales reports for senior leadership in Europe, detailing performance, market insights, and forecasting.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, contributing to the expansion of the customer base and revenue growth.
Regularly review customer visit reports from the sales team to ensure alignment with commercial objectives and continuous improvement.
Customer Management:
Analyze industry and customer trends, leveraging insights to enhance sales strategies and customer engagement.
Effectively manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Oversee the preparation of customer proposals, ensuring they are aligned with customer needs and business goals.
Manage Customer Corrective Action Reports (CCAR), addressing and resolving any customer issues promptly and efficiently.
Lead price negotiations and manage price increase communications, ensuring transparency and alignment with market conditions.
Determine and monitor the Economic Value to Customer (EVC) and Selling Price (SP) in order to optimize customer value and profitability.
Marketing & Communications:
Coordinate and manage advertising in industry-specific media to promote the company’s products and services effectively.
Organize and facilitate customer seminars and corporate events, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and showcasing product offerings.
Monitor and analyze market trends, proactively implementing strategies to ensure sales growth and a competitive edge in the marketplace.
Oversee corporate branding and clothing for the sales team, ensuring consistency with company values and professionalism.
Manage the annual customer satisfaction survey, ensuring feedback is collected, analyzed, and used for continuous improvement.
Conduct analysis of lost and gained business, identifying key reasons and developing corrective actions to improve retention and growth.
Team Leadership:
Provide Syspro training to internal staff as required, ensuring teams are proficient in internal systems and processes.
Support and guide the sales team on customer visits and interactions, ensuring high standards of service and sales excellence.
Manage and develop the internal sales department, fostering a culture of teamwork, growth, and achievement.
Identify and address training needs across the sales and commercial teams, ensuring that appropriate interventions are arranged.
Conduct regular performance appraisals for sales team members, setting clear objectives and developing personal growth plans.

Track and analyze costs across departments, identifying opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements.
Approve credit notes in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.
Conduct safety audits and ensure adherence to safety standards across commercial operations.
Regularly review internal sales systems, proposing and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:Required Minimum Education / Training
Grade 12; National Diploma in Design Technology (or equivalent); CAD; Excel; Syspro
Required Minimum Work Experience
7 Years experience in a technical sales environment of manufacturing product
5 Years of sales management experience
