We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer, with mining experience, to join our client’s team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading mining company, contributing to the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems. The role requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in the heavy industry and compliance with mining regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for mining operations.
Ensure compliance with relevant mining regulations and safety standards.
Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on electrical and control systems.
Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize plant and equipment performance.
Assist with the commissioning of new equipment and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
Develop and implement E&I engineering solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.

About You:

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
- Minimum years of experience in an E&I role within the mining or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with Australian mining standards and industry best practices (if applicable).
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong knowledge of automation and control systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong safety focus and understanding of mining health & safety regulations.
