Haute Cabrière, based in Franschhoek, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Front of House Manager available to join their Restaurant team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership/mentoring skills, and a teamwork focused approach.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Managing day to day operations of the restaurant *Management of staff, including rostering, training and welfare *Support of BOH and Tasting Room *Management of inventory and stock control in the restaurant *Customer interaction during service, and monitoring of guest experience *All other tasks related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management;

• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role (wine industry and restaurant operations);

• Excellent interpersonal skills (English and Afrikaans) - any other spoken language will be an added advantage;

• Excellent computer skills (including POS and MS Office);

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per industry requirements;

• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license.
