Candidate Requirements

• Diploma: Electrical Engineering (N6), preferably light current or Clinical Engineering.

• Digital and Analogue fault finding to component level.

• Experience in RF components (Magnetrons, Klystrons, Wave guides), High Voltage fast switching components and/or Pulse Modulators would be preferential.

• Ability to use measuring equipment (Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, HV Probes).

• Basic knowledge of Networking.

• A talent for problem solving / fault finding.

• Experience on the Elekta / Varian range of Linear Accelerators (Linac’s) would be very advantageous.

• A high degree of computer literacy.

• MS Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge.

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel country wide.

• Own reliable Vehicle.

• Valid Driver’s License

• Flexible and able to work responsibly and unsupervised.
