We are looking for a passionate Senior Mechanical Vehicle Design Engineer to join our talented team and contribute to the design and development of our next-generation vehicle systems and components.

As a Senior Mechanical Vehicle Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems and components for vehicles. You will work on a variety of projects, from early-stage conceptual designs to detailed engineering and testing. Your expertise in mechanical engineering, vehicle systems, and design tools will play a critical role in delivering high-performance, innovative, and manufacturable vehicle solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, analysis, and development of mechanical vehicle systems, including drivetrain, suspension, chassis, and body structures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into the overall vehicle design.
• Utilize advanced CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) to create detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation techniques to validate and optimize designs for performance, safety, and durability.
• Oversee the prototype and testing phases, working closely with the testing team to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Lead design reviews, ensuring that all mechanical designs are innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable.
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical reports.
• Identify and resolve design challenges and performance issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and provide technical leadership to the design team.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate the best solutions into vehicle designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on vehicle systems and components (automotive or related industries).
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar), FEA tools, and other engineering design software.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including drivetrain, suspension, chassis, and body structures.
• Experience with design optimization, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex design challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to lead projects and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with prototype testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
