Finance Manager (Part-Time, 25 Hours per Week)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial management, reconciliations, reporting, and staff oversight. Proficiency in Xero, Excel/Google Sheets, Stripe, Dext, and online banking across multiple currencies is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts, ensuring financial stability.
• Review and approve payments within cash flow parameters.
• Prepare monthly accruals and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee VAT returns and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Maintain and reconcile Indian accounts and other financial records to support year-end processes.

Reconciliations & Revenue Management

• Daily bank reconciliations across three companies, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage trade debtors, liaising with customer service teams to resolve outstanding queries.
• Oversee event revenue reconciliations monthly, ensuring accuracy and tracking income in advance.
• Review prepayment reconciliations and ensure all accounts are up to date.

Staff & System Management

• Manage and support one finance staff member, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Upload and manage event budgets within financial systems.
• Utilize Stripe for financial reporting and transactions.
• Maintain and oversee Dext for financial record-keeping and expense management.
• Work with online banking systems across multiple currencies for financial transactions.

Requirements:

✔ Proven experience in a Finance Manager role or similar position.
✔ Strong proficiency in Xero (essential).
✔ Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets, including VLOOKUP and reconciliations.
✔ Experience using Stripe for financial reporting.
✔ Knowledge of Dext for financial management.
✔ Experience handling multi-currency online banking.
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
✔ Ability to work independently and manage financial operations effectively.
