Project Quality Plan:
Define monitoring requirements
Assess the effectiveness of the monitoring process
Engineer’s Representative (ER) & Specialists:
Conduct administrative or monitoring activities on-site or off-site
Quality Control Responsibility:
The contractor is responsible for ensuring the quality of construction and installation work under the construction contract
Site-Specific ER Procedures:
Must align with the Client's brief and construction contract conditions.
Should not create conflicts with contractual requirements.
Documentation:
All arrangements must be recorded or referenced in the Project Quality Plan
Site Responsibilities:
Own vehicle for commuting to and from project sites
Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with approved designs, specifications, and contractual agreements
Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion within contractual deadlines
Ensure full compliance with COLTO / COTO, SANS 1200, project-specific requirements, and Conditions of Contract (SAICE GCC, FIDIC, NEC)
Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations, offering insights and recommendations to support project progress

Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Civil Designer
A minimum of 6 – 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with a strong background in road construction, projects, site supervision, and project engineering

Qualification:
National Diploma, BTech/Advanced Diploma, or BEng in Civil Engineering
Professional registration with ECSA is preferred
