Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial processing, reconciliations, tax submissions, and management account preparation. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. If you have a BCom Accounting or BCom Financial Management degree and completed SAIPA/SAICA articles, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly bank statements in Pastel Partner.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT201 & EMP201 returns.
• Manage bi-annual EMP501 submissions.
• Calculate and process PROVTAX.
• Capture customer and supplier invoices.
• Record journal entries accurately.
• Prepare monthly management accounts.

Skills and Requirements:

• Education: BCom Accounting or BCom Financial Management (Completed).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of SAIPA/SAICA articles (Essential).
• Software Proficiency:
  • Sage Pastel Partner (Advanced).
  • Microsoft Outlook & Excel (Advanced).
  • ACPAS (Advantageous).
• Key Competencies:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual (Afrikaans & English).
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mentality.
  • Good telephone etiquette and professional demeanor.
  • High energy levels with good stress tolerance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
