Our client, a fast paced and expanding manufacturer in the packaging industry, seeks to employ a SHEQ Officer to join this progressive and expanding professional team. Please note that this role is suited to candidates who have a background in the FMCG or Packaging sector, working with HACCP, ISO 22000 and BRC compliance

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

You will have completed Matric, coupled with 5+ years experience in HSE and Compliance within the manufacturing sector, specifically managing HACCP, GMP and BRC.
You will have solid experience in managing ISO 22000 and FSC management within a fast paced environment, coupled with coordinating training for staff, conducting audits and managing QMS systems.
A continuous improvement culture mindset is key, as well as the development of HSE and compliance plans across the company to align and achieve global standards.
Experience in managing the quality budget, reporting and ensure safety is upheld within the factory, to include equipment, machinery and fire hazards, as well as monitoring the company’s diesel expenses and safety
You will have managed all new employee induction, providing PPE and coordinate training
You will have exceptional attention to detail, be analytical, communicate effectively and be results driven
You will have contactable references, a clear criminal and credit record and it is to be noted that all qualifications and career history will be verified.
