Our client, a leading OEM in Mineral Processing, is looking for an experienced Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join their team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining EC&I systems for high-performance industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical, control, and instrumentation systems for OEM products.
Oversee the integration of automation and control systems.
Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and optimization of EC&I systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Software, Mechanical, and Process Engineers.
Conduct site visits for commissioning, testing, and support when required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in an OEM or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial automation systems.
Experience with instrumentation, sensors, and control networks.
Understanding of electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control system architecture.
Familiarity with industry regulations such as IEC, SANS, or NEC standards.
Ability to manage projects and work effectively in a team environment.
