Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance division as a Junior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, with preferred articles completed, and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field of finance.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Work closely with the finance team to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in all aspects of finance
- Develop a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field
- Preferred completion of articles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Strong with recons)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Pastel
