• Develop & maintain a strategic plan for the department (PLOC / SWOT / ACTION / BUDGET).
• Ensure all procurement and buying is carried out efficiently and effectively within budget.
• Update & maintain buying/logistics related data in the systems.
  
• Coordinate supplier deliveries and collections as necessary.
  
• Ensure full understanding of imports and import codes associated with electrical products.
  
• Communicate with suppliers (Meet or E-Meet as required).
  
• Communicate pro-actively with Sales and Warehouse (Meet or E-Meet as required).
  
• Assist with product profiling, goods receiving, data capture and product-related housekeeping.
  
• Preparing news/communications to sales and other departments (NS, NP, CI, AN, QT, ETC…).
  
• Maintain competitive pricing and service excellence from service providers.
  
• Report monthly and/or as necessary to Management.
  
• Carry out any other reasonable task/request.
  
  𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: 
  
  
• NB! They must be within the Electrical Industry.
  
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
  
• Good Literacy and Numeracy skills, as well as Computer Skills.
  
• Good understanding of LV Electrical Industry & Products.
  
• Above-average communication and negotiating skills: written/ verbal/ electronic.
  
• Procurement/Buying training & qualifications.
  
• Experience in Foreign Buying and Importation Processes, ROE, NRCS, SARS, Clearing, Shipping etc.
  
• Experience/Skills in Managing a small team of staff.
