Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Bookkeeper to join their team in Sherwood, Durban. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial reporting, payroll, and tax submissions. The role requires the ability to work on-site at our office.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform general bookkeeping duties.
• Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, income tax returns, and provisional tax returns.
• Manage payroll processing using Simple Pay and Pastel Payroll.
• Complete and submit EMP201/EMP501 reports.
• Draft Annual Financial Statements (AFS).
• Utilize accounting software such as Pastel, Xero, and Sage for bookkeeping tasks.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
• Proficiency in Pastel, Xero, Sage, Simple Pay, and Pastel Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, including drafting of AFS and tax submissions.
• Experience with VAT, PAYE, and EMP201/501 submissions.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work from the office.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Diploma or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of South African tax regulations and compliance.
