Are you a Moodle expert with a knack for troubleshooting and system administration? We’re looking for a freelance Moodle Specialist & Administrator to help us get our LMS back on track!

About the Role:

We are experiencing technical issues with our Moodle LMS, including missing courses and user data not displaying correctly. We need a skilled professional to:

• Diagnose and resolve current Moodle system issues
• Set up and configure Moodle for optimal performance
• Test system functionality and ensure smooth operation
• Provide administrative support, including upgrades, version updates, and maintenance

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Moodle setup, troubleshooting, and administration
• Strong knowledge and skills in setting up multiple instances of the LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL and PHP) stack for development purposes.
• Strong understanding of LMS systems, plugins, and integrations
• Ability to diagnose and fix database or user account display issues
• Experience in upgrading and maintaining Moodle versions
• Test new features on the development site and published them to the live site after thorough testing.

• Availability for freelance/contract work on a flexible basis
• Must reside in South Africa
• Ability to work from home
