Employer: Time Personnel
- Matric or equivalent (additional qualifications in sales or customer service are a plus)
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) and accounting systems (Sage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach to assisting clients
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with both sales and management staff
DUTIES
- Welcome and assist customers and provide detailed information about products
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Manage customer complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy
- Identify customer needs and promote relevant products
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product inventory, promotions, and store layout
- Process customer orders, process payments, and manage customer accounts
- Assist with basic office tasks such as filing, maintaining customer records, and scheduling appointments
- Update and maintain product displays and brochures
- Ensure the showroom is clean and organized
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to ensure all promotional materials and displays are up-to-date
- Schedule customer appointments for product demonstrations, consultations, or services
- Manage the showroom’s calendar, ensuring that all meetings, events, or special promotions are organized effectively
- Assist in tracking sales leads, follow-up calls, and customer interactions
