- Tertiary qualification in Logistics and Warehouse Controller will be an advantage
- Minimum 3 years experience in a logistics and stores environment
- Understanding of dangerous goods and fire risk

- Checking and accurately receive deliveries from suppliers
- Follow relevant fire and safety requirements
- Housekeeping – Yard, finished goods stores, receiving, despatch and flammable store
- Avoid and reduce damages to finished goods – communicate issues and implement measures to avoid.
- Receive and check in inter branch stock transfers - in and outbound.
- Rotate stock – old stock to be used before new stock
- Avoid and reduce damages of finished goods stock
- Implement branch stock takes as required with accurate counts
- Assisting with the picking of stock for orders
- Assisting with route planning and driver supervision
- Ad hoc daily duties to include – Vehicle tracking / driver management, fuel slip recon / loss prevention and sales order to system check.
- Daily check of logistics stock exception to avoid all unnecessary short supplies
- Provide assistance with customer service – order processing, invoicing and route sheet functions
