Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Gauteng, Ekurhuleni Metro, Germiston

Job Type: 6 month Contract, Full-Time hours

Brief description of the project:

The Project Manager will establish a project governance capability at the client. Furthermore the PM will be responsible for managing several small/medium infrastructure projects for the client. This will entail initiating, planning, monitoring and control and closing the projects.

Job Duties:

• Plan and oversee projects from start to finish
• Coordinate resources, equipment, and personnel
• Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met
• Manage budget and expenses for each project
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with building codes and health & safety regulations
• Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project

Education:

• Matric
• Relevant Diploma

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years Project Management Experience in the construction, build environment

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Strong project management skills
• Proficiency in project management software
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
