We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our UK client’s team in Sandton, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management, driving professionalism, productivity, and performance. This role requires a dynamic leader who is hands-on, passionate about training and development, and capable of fostering a high-performance culture.

You will also play a key role in building strong relationships with senior management in the UK while ensuring seamless operational efficiency within the local team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, ensuring productivity and results.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of professionalism and accountability.
  • Implement performance tracking and drive continuous improvement.

• Training & Development:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to upskill team members.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement strategies for professional growth.
  • Foster a learning environment to enhance efficiency and expertise.

• Operational Efficiency:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company standards.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Stakeholder & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior UK-based management.
  • Act as a bridge between the local team and UK leadership to align goals and expectations.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong track record in managing teams, driving performance, and implementing improvements.
• Experience in training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
• Ability to establish a high-performance culture within the team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
