A leading company, committed to innovation and growth, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure to property and MDA (Municipal Data Analytics) experience. If you’re a dedicated professional with a BCom and SAIPA or SAICA articles, this is the perfect role for you to further develop your career.

Duties:

Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial accounting functions.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
Ensure the accurate reconciliation of financial data and support the financial reporting process.
Gain exposure to property-related financials, including asset management and lease agreements.
Work closely with the MDA team to manage Municipal financial data and ensure accurate reporting.
Assist with audits, providing all necessary documentation and support to Auditors.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures.
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and contribute to financial analysis.

Qualifications & Skills:

BCom Degree in Accounting.
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles.
1 to 2 years of post-articles experience.
Experience in the property sector and exposure to MDA (Municipal Data Analytics) is essential.
