A fast paced, results driven organisation, seeks to employ a Finance Manager. The position will be based at in Bryanston and is an office based role. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the financial management, compliance, and reporting functions of the business. This role includes managing the financial department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining statutory compliance, and optimizing financial processes to support business growth.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting, or a related field (with completed articles).
- CIMA, CA(SA), or equivalent qualification (advantageous).
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a senior financial management role.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Compliance:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial management and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and statutory requirements.
- Manage the company’s cash flow to maintain financial stability and sustainability.
- Ensure full financial compliance with all statutory, and other regulatory obligations, including VAT, PAYE, SDL, WC, provisional tax, and annual tax submissions.
- Maintain and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems across all teams.
Financial Reporting & Forecasting:
- Prepare and distribute accurate monthly management accounts.
- Compile annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Develop and oversee the preparation monthly financial forecasts.
- Produce and present financial reports to Exco team.
Department & Audit Management:
- Manage the financial department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all financial operations.
- Oversee payroll.
- Ensure appropriate external audit arrangements are in place and manage the audit process effectively.
- Supervise and ensure accurate bookkeeping and accounting processes for respective divisions.
Financial Controls & Reconciliation:
- Ensure accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors, and inter-company accounts.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and internal controls for financial operations.
- Review, improve, and maintain invoicing, payment processes, and financial reporting methods.
Cost Control & Process Improvement:
- Continuously review and optimize cost control measures to improve financial efficiency.
- Implement best practices for financial reporting and transaction management.
- Ensure the effective and accurate allocation of financial resources within the company.
