Job Title: Buyer (Mining Industry)

Qualifications Required:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management/Business or related field will be advantageous

Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a Chrome Plant Environment
- 5-10 years of experience in Negotiation and Contract Management
- Experience in Technical Procurement with a focus on Plant equipment and materials

Skills:
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in ERP software and tools
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for reporting purposes

Overall Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate and purchase materials and services needed for the mining operation
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers
- Monitor and control inventory levels
- Generate reports and analysis using MS Excel

This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of procurement processes in the mining industry. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively with various stakeholders is crucial.
