A leading global company is looking for a dedicated Buyer to manage the procurement of goods and services. The role involves optimizing supply base management, resolving supplier payment issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for the following:

Procure goods and services to ensure they meet the required quality, quantity, price, and delivery timelines to optimize business value.
Maintain a robust and dependable supplier base, ensuring procurement practices align with business needs and best practices.
Lead or participate in projects, ensuring successful outcomes as either the project leader or a key team member.
Address and resolve issues related to supplier payments and blocked invoices.
Collaborate with local and global teams, as well as cross-functional departments, to align procurement activities with business goals and drive results.
Follow all company policies and procurement procedures while educating colleagues on effective purchasing systems and practices.
Update key documents such as budgets, sourcing portfolios, spending reports, and KPIs on a weekly basis to ensure accurate tracking.
Proactively identify and report potential supply chain risks to the business in a timely manner.
Manage and resolve supplier claims, ensuring effective and timely resolution.

What Do You Need?:

Degree, Diploma in related field
CIPS will be advantageous
3-5 years' experience in a buying role
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
