My client, a market leader in the manufacturing space, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing plant and daily operational activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive governance at sites
Manage the weekly cash-up forecasting models against plan and drive continuous improvement with business unit management
Manage and co-ordinate cost saving initiatives for the business unit by optimising finance efficiencies at the unit
Ensure that the financial compliance of the business meets the standards as outlined per standardised Group operating procedures and work instructions
Manage the business unit’s payroll costs, with oversight of overtime planned and incurred
Drive return on capital employed (ROCE)
Project management, Capex reviews, and EVA modelling
Manage creditors and debtors
Manage site BEE submission processes
Manage annual budget processes
Submission of monthly management reporting packs
BOM analysis on variable costs

Skills and Qualifications:

BCom Accounting Degree
3-5 years of management experience is essential
Manufacturing and product costing is required
